Disclosure/Disclaimer for E-Teller Access:
Member use of E-Teller online access at A+ Credit Union is subject to the following terms and conditions. In this document use of the terms “you and your” refers to you, the member-user, and “us or we” and “credit union” refers to A+ Credit Union.
Your responsibility: You are responsible for the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting your personal computer and all components relating thereto. You are also responsible for installation and use of Internet software to obtain access to our e-teller. The personnel who designed our e-teller software recommend the use of Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Netscape® Navigator 4.7 or higher. You must obtain your own Internet access for this service from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of your choice. We make no recommendations about any ISP. We also recommend that you buy and use virus checking software on the personal computer you use for access to the Internet. Select the ISP vendor and virus protections of your choice.
E-Signatures and Password Security: Use of your account number without the last digit is required for the use of our e-teller service. A password is also required and you are responsible for protecting the use, access and security of that password. Such password access is recognized in United States code as an electronic signature. Use of an e-signature is as binding as if you had signed an instrument for that same purpose in person in our office(s).
We will provide you online e-teller access over a site secured by the best standards available. We will not allow your access number or password to be captured by third parties. You agree that you have a role in protecting your own privacy by securing your electronic signature.
The credit union will not share or give out your personal account information to any party without use of your password or approval as disclosed in our privacy policy.
DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD WITH OTHERS. If, you share your password that shall be considered consent by you for access to your private information. Such consent intentional or otherwise shall NOT be considered breach of our privacy obligations any more than your leaving personal statements lying about your home would be. You agree that even if you consent to share your password such consent shall not be binding on this credit union regarding disbursal of funds at our offices to parties not formally added to your accounts as signatories. Only the signature to your accounts grants ownership rights to your account.
We strongly recommend that you do not permit a web browser or other software to remember your e-teller password as that may permit others access to your personal account information if you share a computer with other persons. If you ignore this recommendation, you accept responsibility for any others who may obtain access to your private information.
We do not permit others to obtain funds from your account using our e-teller service. Checks may be withdrawn but will only be payable to you — mailed to your address of record — which cannot be changed by using e-teller. If you need to change the address of your account we will not accept the change by e-mail. You must send us address changes by US mail or come to our offices.
All member accounts are opened in our office(s) where identity checks in compliance with the provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act are followed. However, once an account is opened, application can be made within one business day for access online.
We reserve the right to use US mail or e-mail for your initial password which will only be good for first time access and contains letters from your name and from your tax identity number or social security number. We may change the letters or numbers we send to first time users at any time.
After your initial login, you must choose a new password which must contain at least FOUR LETTERS and TWO NUMBERS in any order. It may contain more letters and numbers not less.
If you need assistance using E-teller you may contact us at (208) 522-8576. The credit union can assist you by assigning you a new password by phone if you can provide us the security word you gave us at the time the account was opened or given us at the time of you applied for e-teller. If you cannot provide these security words by phone, a new password may be mailed to your address of record. If a credit union employee reassigns your password, you must still change it when you use it the first time. The credit union cannot access passwords you assigned yourself.
E-statements: When our e-statement becomes available, we may begin this service without notice or request from you. We will email you a notice informing you to download your statement from our secure e-teller service and we reserve the right to discontinue paper statements at that time.
You agree to the terms of this agreement by signing up for this service or using it. Amendments to this agreement added by us can be viewed and read online at any time. You agree to hold the credit union harmless from real or perceived economic damages resulting from inability to access account information should online access be unavailable for any reason.
If online service is unavailable, you may still contact our 24-hour teller phone, Ms Penny to review account information if you have requested a PIN. You can call us (208) 522-8576 to request a PIN. And you can call Ms Penny directly at (208) 523-8284 if you already have a PIN.
Continued use this service shall also constitute agreement to any amendments to any or all of the terms and conditions stated here-in. (IFTCU © 05/2003).
